On Friday, a car seen stuck in a waterlogged subway in Gujarat’s Navsari district. The car’s passengers are seen trying to get it out of the water in a video shared by news agency ANI.

Personnel from the fire department also attempt to pull the car out of the water using ropes linked to another vehicle. The group of 6-7 men succeeds in the process.

The incident occurred in Navsari’s Mandir Gam underpass, which was flooded due to the state’s high rainfall.

Gujarat has been experiencing heavy rains and flooding since the monsoon arrived on June 27.

The downpour disrupted daily life and slowed transportation movement in the Surat, Valsad, Navsari, and Tapi districts of south Gujarat.

However, the rate of rain is projected to slow beginning July 1.

“Monsoon is in its advanced stage and active,” said Naresh Kumar, senior scientist at the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Thursday. We may see clouds above Kokan, Goa, Central India, and the Northeastern provinces.

He also projected that a lot of rain would fall in the country’s east and northeast over the following five days.

“Due to moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal, East and Northeast India are expected to receive heavy rainfall over the next five days,” the IMD scientist predicted.
