Weather updates: Today (September 1): Extremely Heavy Rainfall in Lash West Bengal, Sikkim, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

Weather updates: Over isolate parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, heavy to very heavy rains are expect.

Heavy rain is forecast in isolate areas across Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram. Tripura, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, Gujarat state, Coastal, North Interior Karnataka, also Lakshadweep.

Thunderstorms with lightning are expect in Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim. Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan, Goa, Gujarat, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu.

Friday (September 2)

Over isolated areas, heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely. West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, also Meghalaya are sub-Himalayan states.

Dense fog is possible in the morning over the Trans Himalayas and in the relatively high altitude area of the western Himalayas.

Over the next 5 days, fairly widespread to widespread light or moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls, thunderstorms. And lightning is very likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, also Meghalaya.

During the next 5 days, similar wet conditions are expect over south Madhya Pradesh on September 1. Bihar on September 1 and 2, also Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
