What will be India’s playing XI in the first Test Match, Adelaide, in the Pink Ball?

Most awaited test series will start from tomorrow on 17th December 2020. It will be a day-night match in Adelaide. India will be playing in new condition with the new colour ball. Pink ball test match in Australia will be remembered for a long time.

Kohli who is going to play his only test match against Australia will be looking to beat Aussies and give India a perfect start for the test series.

It will not be easy to beat Mighty Aussies as Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Starc with the new ball, Cummin, Lyon will make India’s work tough. On the other side, India will depend on Boom Boom Bumrah and Shami to deliver for India.

Now for the first test match, everyone is curious what will be the team? Who will play the first test in Australia.

Well here’s the Playing XI we feel can be seen in white jersey for India.

Opening slot KL.Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, 3rd and 4th spot we don’t have any doubt it will be Pujara and Virat Kohli then 5th will be vice-captain Rahane. The 6th player we feel will be Rishabh Pant as keeper chances of Saha is less. Then comes the confusion hanumanth vihari or Jadeja. We feel looking to the form Jadeja will get the place in the team as 7th batsman all-rounder. Then 8th surely will be Ravichandran Ashwin. After that pace attack of India without Ishant Sharma will be 9th player Boom Boom Bumrah, 10th player Shami and veteran 11th player Umesh Yadav.

So the team for the first test match against Australia 2020 series is as follows.

  1. K.L.Rahul
  2. Mayank Agarwal
  3. Cheteshwar Pujara
  4. Virat Kohli (c)
  5. Ajinkya Rahane (v.c)
  6. Rishabh Pant (w.bt)
  7. Ravindra Jadeja (all)
  8. Ravichandran Ashwin (spin/ Bat)
  9. Mohammed Shami
  10. Jasprit Bumrah
  11. Umesh Yadav

This series is going to be interesting if we control Smith and Labuschagne then the series will be to India 2-1 or 3-1 or 2-0 if Smith and Labuschagne played well then India will lose 4-0 or 3-1.

Whichever team takes important wickets at an important time will take advantage in the entire series as momentum will shift towards one team for 4 test matches.
