OpenAI, the firm behind ChatGPT, revealed ChatGPT new features on Monday that its generative artificial intelligence platform now includes picture and audio capabilities. 

Users who could previously only communicate with the AI tool via written prompts can now engage in audio discussions with the AI and send photos to ask inquiries.

Who will get access to ChatGPT new features?

Over the following two weeks, voice and image features will be available to paid members – ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise users.

According to OpenAI, the voice communication capability will first be available on iOS and Android, while photos will be available on all devices.

How to use the new Voice Recognition:

Navigate to the Settings menu in the mobile app.

Choose “New Features.”

Participate in voice conversations.

Tap the headphone icon in the top-right corner of the home screen once enabled.

You can choose between five different voices. Each voice was created in collaboration with professional voice actors from OpenAI.

ChatGPT will also communicate with you using Whisper, OpenAI’s open-source voice recognition system that converts spoken words into text.

How to use the new Image Recognition:

To take or select an image, use the photo button.

You can add several photos to iOS or Android by hitting the addition button or using the drawing tool.

Language reasoning skills are used in pictures, screenshots, and documents containing text and images in these models.
