The Redmi K50i is essentially a rebrand Poco X4 GT (available globally) or a rebadge Redmi Note 11T Pro (sold exclusively in China), both of which were release earlier in 2022.
Aside from the rebranding, the Redmi K50i is a solid handset power by MediaTek’s popular Dimensity 8100 SoC. Which can also be found in competing devices such as the Realme GT Neo 3. In terms of performance, the SoC has proven to be competitive. As it outperformed both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 devices and the Apple A15 Bionic equipped smartphones in early Antutu benchmarks with the Redmi K50i.
The Redmi K50i is power by a 5080 mAh battery cell that supports Xiaomi’s 67W fast wired charging solution, with the 67W charger included in the package. In addition, it will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. A peak brightness of up to 650 nits, and support for Dolby Vision content.
The Redmi K50i’s cameras are standard, with a triple camera setup at the back and a selfie camera housed within the top center punch hole in front of the display. The rear camera setup added a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro snapper. While the front camera has a high-resolution 20MP camera for selfies and video calls.
