Thus, I have chosen to move around,” Banerjee said, tending to the meeting while at the same time sitting in a wheelchair. The West Bengal government had begun to give free apportion to individuals of the state during the Covid pandemic. At first, the plan was uniquely for a quarter of a year: April, May and June and was stretched out for a year. The plan intends to give an extra 5kg food grain liberated from cost to around 80 crores public food security act (NFSA) recipients.
“For the initial three months of the lockdown, we gave every family five kilos of rice. Throughout the following three months, till September, we would furnish five kilos of rice alongside an equivalent measure of flour to every family.

“Following the Prime Minister declared that the Center would give free apportion under Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana till November, the central clergyman hopped into a political rush to counter it. She has said the state would give free proportion to individuals till June 2021. Does she have any believability all things considered?” BJP’s public secretary Rahul Sinha inquired.
West Bengal gathering races will be held in eight stages beginning from March 27, with the last round of deciding on April 29. The checking of votes will happen on May 2.
