Lowest Rainfall after 2021: The lowest Rainfall is recorded from 2015 to 2021. The state has received 36 per cent of the season’s Rainfall with 12 inches so far.
In comparison, 44 per cent of the season’s Rainfall was recorded with 14 inches till August 2 last year. Thus, the Rainfall is still seven per cent less than last year. July has the lowest Rainfall this year as compared to the last nine years. The average Rainfall in 2012 was 5 inches. This year has averaged 7 inches.
Rainfall data of Gujarat 2021: Gujarat state so far are 32 per cent in Kutch with 5 inches, 31 per cent with 9 inches in North Gujarat, 34 per cent with 11 inches in East Central Gujarat, 34 per cent with 9 inches in Saurashtra and 39. per cent in South Gujarat with 22.55 inches.
Currently, there are only two talukas in the state where more than 39 inches of rain has been recorded. The state received a total rainfall of 5 inches in June and 7 inches in July. On the other hand, 5 inches of rain was recorded in June last year and 9 inches in July.

Gandhinagar has 57%, Aravalli 54%, Surendranagar 52%, Tapi 49% below average, Dahod 48%. Concerns have been raised in more than 50% of the Rainfall in 11 districts. July has the lowest Rainfall in the last nine years. The average Rainfall in 2012 was 5 inches. This year has averaged 7 inches.
Gujarat’s only four reserves are 100% full: Out of 207 reservoirs in Gujarat, only four reservoirs are 100% full. Currently, the total water storage is 47%. Sardar Sarovar Dam has 47%. North Gujarat has 25%, Central 43%, South 57%, Kutch 24%, Saurashtra 41% water storage.
The 25 demos alone have more than 70% water. Ninety-four reservoirs have less than 25% water. There is no sign of good rains in the state for the next seven days. However, according to the meteorological department, there may be scattered showers in some places in the next seven days.
