Ukraine-Russia War: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that he spoke by phone with his US counterpart Joe Biden about financial assistance and sanctions against Russia as his country faces an intensifying onslaught.

Operation Ganga resulted in the return of over 13,000 Indians.

On Saturday, the government said that 63 flights had returned over 13,300 Indians as part of the ‘Operation Ganga’ evacuation mission. Since then, a few more flights from Ukraine’s neighboring countries have arrived. On Sunday, a particular flight carrying 154 Indian nationals stranded in crisis-torn Ukraine arrived in Delhi from the Slovakian city of Kosice.

An Indian Air Force flight carrying 210 Indians arrived at the Hindan airbase near Delhi from Bucharest, Romania. Another flight carrying 183 Indians arrived in Delhi from Budapest, Hungary. Finally, an Air India Express flight from Bucharest returned 182 to Mumbai.
