Russian famous influencer’s crying after Instagram ban in Russia; see

Some of Russia’s most famous influencers have sobbed after learning that Vladimir Putin has imposed an Instagram ban amid his country’s ongoing conflict with Ukraine. On Monday, the ban took effect, just days after the Kremlin claimed the social media site was inciting “violence against Russians.”

Famous public figures wept at the news in their final video posts before having their accounts restricted, with one saying it felt like her life was “being taken away” from her.

According to Insider, Russian reality TV star Olga Buzova, 36, told her 23.3 million fans, “I am not scared of revealing that I do not want to lose you.”

“I have no idea what the future holds,” she sobbed further in the seven-minute video. “I’m not sure. I shared my life, work, and soul. This isn’t just a job for me; it’s a part of my soul. It feels as if a large part of my heart and life is being take from me.”

In other news, an unidentified Russian beauty blogger reportedly wept. After learning of the ban, according to a video posted to Twitter by news channel Nexta TV.

“It’s all life to me.” It’s the spirit. It’s the only thing that causes me to wake up and fall asleep. “F–king five years in a row,” she allegedly said in Russian.

The brunette was immediately chastise on Twitter, with one critic writing. “Ukrainians are paying with their lives, while Russians think they don’t need to pay anything?”

However, the criticism hasn’t stopped other Russian celebrities from lamenting the end of the Instagram era.

Valeria Chekalina, a social media influencer with 10.5 million followers. Posted a crying face emoji to her profile also encouraged fans to follow her on other platforms, including Telegram.

Liza Lukasheva, who has 1 million followers on Instagram, posted a short video saying goodbye to her adoring fans.

The Instagram ban came after Meta, which owns both Instagram and Facebook, announced a new policy that applies only to Ukraine and allows calls for violence in posts about the Russian invasion.
