Russia-Ukraine Conflict, Today, 6 March, in Ukraine, there is a war crisis. Russia’s military is attempting to consolidate its gains in the South by moving closer to the vital port city of Odesa to cut off the Ukrainian government from the sea.

During a call with US senators, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly made a “desperate plea” to Eastern Europe to provide Russian-made aircraft to Ukraine. He also advocated for a no-fly zone, lethal assistance, a ban on Russian oil. And the suspension of Visa also Mastercard in Russia.

According to Reuters, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stated following the call on Saturday:

Russia’s military is attempting to consolidate its gains in the South by moving closer to the vital port city of Odesa to cut off the Ukrainian government from the sea. Outside of Kyiv, fierce attacks and counterattacks have taken place as Ukrainian forces keep the Russians from encircling the city.

Protests in support of Ukraine are taking place all over the world.

On Saturday, 10,000 of people marched in Santiago, Vancouver, Paris. Also New York to support Ukraine, demanding an end to Russia’s invasion. According to interior ministry estimates, 41,600 people participated in 119 protests in towns also cities across France.

In Paris, 16,000 people gathered at Place de la Bastille. According to Switzerland’s ATS news agency, 40,000 people attended a rally in Zurich. In addition, hundreds of people gathered in London, including Ukrainians whose families had been forced to flee Russian bombs.
