It can be challenging to read because the new indicator includes the percentage inside the battery icon rather than next to it. As it did in previous models and the Control Center. The icon itself remains fill, giving users the impression that the battery has not been deplete until the battery falls to 20%. At this point, the icon turns red and remains partially filled.
