A pediatric sero-review directed in Mumbai has shown that 51.18% of those under 18 in Mumbai have antibodies against Covid infection (Covid-19). The study was led by community body-run BYL Nair Hospital and Kasturba Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory (KMDL) between April 1 to June 15. 

The BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that 2,176 blood tests were tried for investigation. The outcomes showed that the extent of the pediatric populace having antibodies has expanded contrasted with the before sero overview, the BMC added. 

The urban body said in delivery that sero energy is the most noteworthy in the age bunch 10-14 years – at 53.43 per cent. For kids in the age gathering of 1-4 years, it is 51.04 per cent, while it is 47.33 per cent in the age gathering of 5 to 9 years, 53.43 per cent in 10 to 14 years, and 51.39 per cent in 15 to 18 years, as indicated by BMC. 

In the sero overview led in March, the energy rate was 39.4% if there should arise an occurrence of those beneath the age of 18, it added.
