Adani Energy Solutions revenue grew 85% to Rs 6,813.7cr in the September quarter.

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (formerly Adani Transmission) posted impressive financial results for the September quarter of 2024, with consolidated profit surging 172% year-over-year to Rs 773.4 crore.

This marks a significant increase from the Rs 284.1 crore recorded in the same period last year, driven by robust growth across its business segments.

Revenue and EBITDA Growth

The company also reported an 85% rise in revenue from operations, reaching Rs 6,813.7 crore in Q2. Additionally, EBITDA grew 31% year-over-year, amounting to Rs 1,891 crore. These gains reflect the company’s focus on operational efficiency and timely project commissioning.

Transmission Business Leads Growth

Adani Energy Solutions’ transmission business led the charge, with consolidated revenue from this segment rising 132% to Rs 2,303 crore. The distribution business also saw a notable increase, with revenue jumping by Rs 534.30 crore to Rs 3,014 crore.

New Projects and Future Outlook

During the quarter, the company secured three new transmission projects valued at Rs 10,300 crore, located in Jamnagar, Navinal, and Khavda. These projects are expected to add 2,059 ckm (circuit kilometers) to its under-construction network.

Currently, the company has 12 transmission projects worth Rs 27,300 crore in the execution phase, with several expected to be commissioned within the fiscal year.

CEO Kandarp Patel emphasized the company’s commitment to project completion and the positive power demand trends, noting progress in smart meter installations across all contracts.

This strong performance reinforces Adani Energy Solutions’ position as one of India’s largest private power transmission companies, operating across 14 states. The company remains optimistic about continuing its growth trajectory in the coming quarters.
