 Re-carpeting work on the runway began a month and a half ago, and the runway will be open for flights from April 15. Re-carpeting work was scheduled for January 17th to May 31st between 9 am and 6 pm, but the result was completed 45 days early.

The length of this runway is 3505 meters with a slope in both directions in the transverse direction. 

In addition to the runway, special attention is now being paid to the works around it. The existing taxiway connecting the domestic apron is also being rebuilt. 

This will result in improved runway quality and safety of aircraft operations. Ongoing operations are underway, and as part of this, it will be fully ready by April 14.
