On Saturday, Ali Fazal walked the red carpet for the international premiere of Fast X in Rome. Fast and Furious X is the latest part of the Fast and Furious franchise.

Ali reunited with lead actor Vin Diesel at the premiere, and the two posed for photos against Rome’s renowned Colosseum. Ali was dressed in a black shirt, black pants, and a matching overcoat.

Ali made his Hollywood debut in Furious 7, the 7th movie of the Fast and Furious franchise. He appeared in the film as a cameo as his character Safar.

He is not, however, in the tenth part and was invited to the premiere as part of his previous participation with the franchise.

Ali captioned an Instagram video with Vin Diesel, “AND THE FAST X PREMIERE WENT DOWN HARD RIGHT HERE AT THE COLOSSEUM… because (because) when in Rome you go gladiator style… Reunion of Fast and Furious. Furious 7. Thank you for all of your support, Vin @vindiesel.

You are the sweetest man I know and the heart of the Fast clan. Feel proud to be a member of the team. (Disclaimer: I’m not in Fast X, but I’m there for Love). Thank you, Manish, for allowing me to express myself through your vision!! @manishmalhotra05 “I adore you!!”

Ali will shortly embark on a promotional tour for Kandahar, his upcoming Hollywood thriller alongside Gerard Butler. It will be released in the United States on May 26.

“I am thrilled to be attending the international premiere of Fast X in Rome, and it is an honour to have been invited as part of my previous involvement with the franchise,” he said ahead of his appearance at the Rome premiere.

This is where it all began for me regarding my global job, and I am grateful for the chances this franchise has provided me. I am happy to rejoin the cast and crew, and I look forward to seeing what the action magic they have created has in store for us this time.”

Fast X will be released on May 19 in theatres. The film, directed by Louis Leterrier, stars Vin Diesel, Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, Helen Mirren, Brie Larson, Jason Statham, John Cena, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michael Rooker, Daniela Melchior, and Cardi B. Meadow Walker, the kid of late actor Paul Walker, will also make an appearance.
