Alia Bhatt shares and Ranbir Kapoor married on April 14 at the Kapoor ancestral house Vaastu in Mumbai, with only their close family also friends in attendance. She took to Instagram after sharing glimpses of the wedding ceremony to share photos from the intimate Mehendi ceremony.

“The Mehendi was like a big out of a dream,” Alia wrote. It was a day fill with love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, also Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organized by Mr. Kapoor (my favorite artist performed my favorite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with my love. So there are some days… Then there are days like today.

Furthermore, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will co-star in Brahmastra, released on September 9, 2022.

“Shah Rukh is close to Alia and Ranbir and will be there for the reception,” a source close to the couple says.

The wedding bash will be held in a private setting. Alia’s co-star Varun Dhawan and directors SS Rajamouli and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are among the invited guests. In addition, Ayan Mukerji, Ranbir’s best friend, has been invited to all wedding events.
