Abhishek Bachchan took to his Twitter and said that
he has to still be hospitalized but father, Amitabh Bachchan tested negative in
the latest test of the COVID-19 virus and has been discharged from the hospital.
On Sunday, actor Abhishek
Bachchan took to his Twitter to reveal that father and legendary actor, Amitabh
Bachchan has been discharged from Nanavati hospital after testing negative for
the COVID-19 virus. Junior Bachchan said that his father will now rest at his
residence with all the health measures and thanked his good wishers for their
prayers.

Abhishek Bachchan also revealed in another tweet that he is still Coronavirus positive. The actor wrote that unfortunately, due to comorbidities, he remained COVID-19 positive and so, will continue to be hospitalized as per the doctor’s advice. Junior AB also described how humbled and indebted he felt, for the people’s love and prayers for his family. Abhishek also promised that he will fight the deadly disease and come back healthier.

Moments after Junior Bachchan’s
tweet, his father, Mr Amitabh Bachchan, shared the latest development with his
followers and said that he had been discharged from the hospital and back home
in solitary quarantine. He lauded the blessings of the Almighty, his
mother-father, friends, family, and fans. Sr. AB also thanked the Nanavati
hospital for their excellent care and nursing provided to him.
Both the father-son duo had
tested positive for the novel COVID-19 virus on July 11.
