The death of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has left a void that will never be filled. People all over the country have been in mourning since she breathed her last on Sunday morning.

Amitabh Bachchan pays tribute posted a throwback video of Lata Mangeshkar on Instagram. In the video, he is seen welcoming Lata Mangeshkar on stage at one of the award ceremonies.
“Kaise parichay du jo iss desh ki hi nahi, vishwa ki awaaz hai” (How do I introduce someone who is not only the voice of the nation but also the voice of the world)? Big B stated in the video.
He even referred to Lata Mangeshkar as “Goddess Saraswati” when introducing her to everyone in attendance.

Amitabh captioned a video clip, “She has left us.. the voice of a million centuries has left us.. she resounds now in the heavens.”
Lata Mangeshkar, regarded as one of Indian cinema’s greatest playback singers, began her career as a teenager in 1942 also has sung over 25,000 songs in various Indian languages.
