After next month’s first Test against Australia, Virat was given paternity leave by the BCCI. As the couple welcomes their first child in early January, he will miss three Test matches in Australia to be with Anushka. …Mr. Virat Kohli told the BCCI of his intentions to return to India following the first Adelaide Test.

The BCCI has given the Indian captain paternity leave. After the first Test against Australia in Adelaide, he will come back,” Board Secretary Jay Shah said in a press release. 

The centrally-contracted players are qualified for paternity leave, and it was used by Rohit during Australia’s 2018 tour.

Virat’s 32nd birthday in Dubai:

Virat had been accompanied by Anushka to the UAE for the Indian Premier League previously. He led his Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL team until it was pushed out of the competition. She, along with her other teammates, also celebrated her 32nd birthday in Dubai.
