Apna Dal (S) MLA alleges that Dalits have been ignored for the Ayodhya event.

Uttar Pradesh MLA alleges that Dalits have been categorically kept away from the Bhoomi pujan of Ram mandir in Ayodhya, which PM Modi will be attending.

On Tuesday, Apna Dal (S) MLA Chowdhary Amar Singh has alleged that Dalits have been categorically ignored, while invitations were given for the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The MLA from Uttar Pradesh also criticized the ground-breaking ceremony which is taking place in India amid the novel COVID-19 pandemic.

Amar Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed haste for the construction of the temple, and the same haste should be shown for giving pension and houses to the poor. The preparations for the ground-breaking ceremony have begun in full swing and PM Modi is scheduled to attend the mega ceremony on Wednesday, August 5.

BJP ally criticizes PM Modi:

Apna Dal (S) is an ally of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, and the MLA Amar Singh said,” Dalits and backward have been deprived of attending the Ayodhya Bhoomi pujan event. The haste which PM showed for the temple should also be shown for giving house and pension to poor.”

Lord Ram is only of the BJP, says Apna Dal (S) MLA:

Chowdhary Amar Singh further stated,” The face of those who struggled for the temple is not seen. They are being ignored. The trust constituted for the construction of the temple does not have people from backward, SC, and ST communities. It is a “Ved Pratha trust” and seems that Lord Ram is only of the BJP.” The MLA from Shohratgarh constituency further urged the trust to also invite President Ram Nath Kovind for the ceremony. He states that the under the Congress rule, the then President Buta Singh, an SC, did ‘shilanyas’”
