Trinamool Congress in West Bengal has begun a house-chase for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Nandigram in the East Midnapore region from where she would challenge the coming gathering races.
As Sheikh Sufiyan stated:
“Our gathering chiefs have checked various houses in Nandigram where Banerjee could remain throughout the following month and battle the races.
We have effectively leased a couple of houses where TMC pioneers coming from Kolkata could remain,” said Sheik Sufiyan, a TMC pioneer from East Midnapore.

Elections will be held in West Bengal in eight stages beginning March 27. The election for the Nandigram get together seat will be held in the second stage on April 1.
Nandigram, situated around 100 km south of Kolkata, is one of the most esteemed gathering supporters for the TMC because mass developments against land obtaining during 2006-08 cleared the way for Banerjee’s political revival and moved her to control in 2011.
The BJP is likely to field Suvendu Adhikari:
The BJP will probably field Suvendu Adhikari, a previous TMC heavyweight and a previous priest who agreed with the BJP in 2020, from Nandigram.
The Adhikari family, including Suvendu’s dad Sisir Adhikari, a TMC MP and two siblings, holds influence in the region as their home turf.
As TMC leader stated:
“We have focused in on two houses, which appear to be appropriate for Mamata Banerjee to remain in Nandigram. While one has a place with a previous safeguard workforce, the other has a place with an educator,” said a TMC pioneer.
A local TMC leader stated:
One of them is near Sufiyan’s home, and TMC pioneers said it would be more reasonable for Banerjee. “The two-story house is situated in a path and has greenery done with a little plantation in the patio. There are broad paddy fields past that,” said a neighbourhood TMC pioneer.
President of the state BJP’s Mahila morcha Agnimitra Paul stated:
The BJP agreed at the decision party over the house-chase and said it would not assist TMC much as the gathering planned to lose this time. “The TMC may look for two houses or four houses for Mamata Banerjee.
She would be crushed this time. Suvendu Adhikari has effectively responded to the call to crush Banerjee by in any event 50,000 votes,” said Agnimitra Paul, leader of the express BJP’s Mahila morcha.
