Bigg Boss 15 finale, Shehnaaz Gill pays tribute to Sidharth Shukla
Shehnaaz Gill relived her Bigg Boss 15 finale memories with Sidharth Shukla in a musical performance to Sidharth Shukla.
Shehnaaz Gill will pay a exceptional musical tribute to the late Sidharth Shukla on Bigg Boss 15’s grand finale this weekend, according to reports earlier this week. Fans have now seen the first glimpse of Shehnaaz’s tribute in a Colors TV Instagram promo.
The promo for the grand finale episode begins with a montage of Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s Bigg Boss house moments.
They met on Bigg Boss 13, where Sidharth won, and Shehnaaz was the second runner-up. Shehnaaz can be heard saying in the video, “Dear Sidharth, mere liye toh tu hamesha yahin hai (For me, you are always here).”
Following that, Shehnaaz sings an original song in her voice, which discusses longing, separation, and reunion.
“In the grand finale of BB15, Shehnaaz reignites Sidharth’s memories,” says a voiceover. In the background a montage of Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s moments from Season 13 plays. Shehnaaz is startled by Sidharth’s voice calling her ‘Sana,’ her nickname, at the end of the video.
Sidharth died in September of last year at the age of 40 from what appeared to be a heart attack. The actor, who has appeared on shows such as Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak, rose to prominence on Bigg Boss 13. One of the highlights of BB13 was the bond between Shehnaaz and Sidharth. Their pairing, dubb SidNaaz by fans, was well received by both fans and industry colleagues.
Fans praised Shehnaaz’s performance and how she brought back Sidharth’s memories. “I can’t stop crying; this has broken me,” one person wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post. “She made me cry,” another said. Several fans stated that they would watch the finale solely for the performance.
Bigg Boss 15 finale will air this weekend, on January 29 and 30, at 8 p.m. The grand finale is expect to be a star-studded affair with several other guests in attendance. All of the season’s eliminated contestants and several previous season winners will make an appearance.
