Krunal Pandya Calls Out Dinesh Karthik for Leaving Bowlers Out of Celebration Post

Royal Challengers Bengaluru allrounder Krunal Pandya had fans in splits after he publicly called out mentor and former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik on Instagram following RCB’s commanding victory over Mumbai Indians. After Karthik posted a celebratory photo collage featuring Rajat Patidar, Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, and Tim David, Pandya noticed one glaring omission — the bowlers. His response was swift and witty: “Bro no bowlers post?”

Pandya Shines With Ball for RCB

Pandya had every reason to feel deserving of a shoutout. He was RCB’s standout bowler on the night, finishing with figures of 4-0-26-1 and recording the best economy rate of 6.5 among all bowlers. His most notable scalp was Suryakumar Yadav, who attempted a trademark sweep only to sky the ball to Rasikh Dar at deep backward square leg. Pandya’s disciplined variations, including the occasional sharp short ball, kept the Mumbai Indians batters consistently under pressure throughout his spell.

RCB Post Mammoth Total to Seal the Contest

With the ball, RCB had already done the bulk of the damage after posting a massive 240/4. The innings was anchored by a dazzling 120-run opening partnership between Kohli and Salt, with Patidar and David providing explosive finishing touches. Kohli set the tone early, hammering Trent Boult over deep square leg for a six off the very first over. Hardik Pandya’s dismissal to Duffy, caught at deep third man, ended whatever slim hopes Mumbai had of pulling off a stunning chase.

RCB’s all-round performance was near flawless — but if you ask Krunal, the celebration could have been just a little more inclusive.
