Mahesh Babu is trending big time thanks to a recent statement at the trailer launch of Adivi Sesh’s Major. The actor, who has been asked several times about his plans to appear in Bollywood films, stated that “Bollywood cannot afford” him, according to India Today, News18, and other media reports. During the launch, several media outlets quoted Mahesh Babu as saying, “I did get many offers in Hindi, but I don’t think they can afford me.”

I don’t want to squander my time in an industry that can’t afford me. The stardom and respect I receive here are enormous, so I never considered leaving my industry to work in another.”

The 46-year-old actor stated, “I have always thought of doing films and becoming bigger. Finally, my dream is becoming a reality, also I couldn’t be happier.”

Mahesh Babu, the son of Telugu actor Krishna. Began his career as a child actor with his father’s 1989 film Poratam. He also appeared in his father’s films, including Sankharavam and Bazaar Rowdy. Mahesh Babu made his feature film debut in 1999 with Raja Kumarudu, in which he co-starred with Preity Zinta.
