Dream Girl 2, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, is slowly approaching the 50-crore club at the domestic box office.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film grossed more than four crore on its first Monday. The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, was released last Friday.

According to Sacnilk.com, the film started at the box office in India with 10.69 crore and grossed 14.02 crore on its second day.
The film grossed 16 crore on Sunday. According to the report, Dream Girl 2 grossed 4.70 crore nett in India on its fourth day, according to early estimates. So now, the film has grossed 45.41 crore.
Mai Marjawangi unplugged by Ayushmann:
Dream Girl 2 also stars Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav, Ayushmann, and Ananya Panday.
On Monday night, Ayushmann stunned his fans by releasing an unplugged rendition of Dream Girl 2’s Mai Marjawangi song.
Sharing the link on Instagram, Ayushmann penned, “Aap sab ki farmaaish ho, aur main na gaau toh (You all asked and I wouldn’t sing) Mai Marjawanga! #MaiMarjawangi Song Out Now! #DreamGirl2InCinemas.”
I wish my father was here; says Ayushmann:
After the film grossed over 40 crores, Ayushmann recalled his late father, P Khurana, and how he inspired him to become a wonderful actor.
According to news agency ANI, “I wish my father was here to witness this.” Dream Girl was his favourite film. He was really happy about how I tried something new.
I recall him doing the splits while watching the movie. He expected that the picture would be a smashing success. “I wish he could have seen Dream Girl 2 as well.”
“I know he would have loved it, and I would have loved to see him laugh with all his heart again.” His laughter was infectious, and he was my biggest supporter.
His unwavering trust in me has made me who I am today. I took the road less travelled because he taught me that I was the master of my fate and that I should always follow my heart.
I know he’s blessing me from up high. “His profound words ‘beta public ki navz samjho (understand the people)’ will always resonate with me,” he remarked. On May 19, this year, Ayushmann’s father died.
