Checkout WhatsApp new feature of silence incoming calls

In response to a rise in spam calls from unknown numbers on WhatsApp, Meta has created a new feature that allows users to automatically mute such calls on the platform.

According to the Instagram Meta Channel, this new feature will make WhatsApp more private and give users more control.

This feature has been under beta testing for some time, and the stable version is now accessible for users of Android and iOS smartphones.

The software is automatically silent calls from unknown numbers if you activate it in the privacy settings section.

Here’s how you can start the new feature on WhatsApp:

Check that you have the most recent version of App installed on your phone, or upgrade it from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. With the stable version of WhatsApp, we could use this feature on phones such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Realme 11 Pro+.

Start WhatsApp.
In the top right corner, select the kebab menu.
Go to the settings menu.
Select Privacy, Select Calls
Enable the “Silence Unknown Callers” option.

Almost every week, Meta adds new features in the application. WhatsApp channels were recently introduced in select regions, and the business also added the option to edit sent messages for up to 15 minutes.
