Cockroach Janta Party Warns Government Over Unmet Demands

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has cautioned the central government that the party may resume its agitation if outstanding demands are not addressed soon. Speaking to news agency ANI, Dipke acknowledged that one major demand had already been met with the resignation of the Education Minister, but stressed that several other core issues remain unresolved and require prompt government action.

Demands Still Pending

According to the party, key unresolved issues include compensation for the families of NEET aspirants affected by past controversies, the release of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, and the withdrawal of FIRs filed against students who took part in earlier protests. Dipke maintained that these commitments were part of assurances made during previous rounds of talks with the government, and that the party expects them to be honoured without further delay. He indicated that the CJP intends to keep pressing on these fronts and will not hesitate to mobilise again if progress stalls.

Opposition to New Minister Appointment

The party has also voiced strong objections to the appointment of Pralhad Joshi as the new Education Minister, raising concerns about his past record and how it could shape public perception of the ministry going forward. Dipke suggested that this appointment adds another layer of dissatisfaction to the party’s list of grievances.

Warning that patience is running thin, Dipke said, “otherwise, we will have to sit in protest again,” signaling that renewed demonstrations remain firmly on the table. The CJP has framed its stance as a direct message to authorities: deliver on earlier promises, or brace for another round of public agitation in the days ahead.
