Congress list of Candidates Karnataka Assembly elections

Congress party has released the list of Candidates for the Karnataka Assembly elections, shared on Twitter. 

On Saturday, the Congress party released its list of upcoming Karnataka assembly elections due in May, with 124 candidates. 

“Here is the 1st list of Congress candidates finalised by the CEC for the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections,” the party stated on Twitter by sharing a list of the candidates.

The first list includes the names of former chief minister and opposition leader Siddaramaiah and state party president DK Shivakumar. 

The former CM will fight for the Varuna assembly seat in Mysuru, which is his home constituency, and KPCC leader DK Shivakumar will run for Kanakapura, according to the party’s decision.

According to a press release from the AICC, “the CEC has selected the following individuals as Congress candidates for the upcoming elections to the Karnataka’s Legislative Assembly.”

The list also included members from other Congress districts, such as Satish Jarkiholi of Yemkanmardi, Lakshmi Hebbalkar of Belgaum Rural, Rizwan Arshad of Shivajinagar, Dinesh Gundu Rao of Gandhinagar, Priyank Kharge of Chitapur, Tanveer Sait of Narasimharaja, and also B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan of Chamrajpet.
