Intensified Campaigning for Lok Sabha Polls in Gujarat

As the Lok Sabha polls in Gujarat draw closer, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the opposition Congress party are gearing up for intensified campaigning. 

PM Narendra Modi, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, and other prominent figures are scheduled to hold rallies and roadshows across the state in the coming days.

Prime Minister Modi’s Campaign on Lok Sabha polls: 

Prime Minister Modi is set to embark on a hectic campaign schedule, with plans to address six rallies on May 1 and 2. His itinerary includes public gatherings in key regions such as Kutch-Saurashtra, north Gujarat, and central Gujarat. 

The PM will kick off his campaign with a Vadodara roadshow on May 1, followed by Banaskantha and Anand rallies. On May 2, he will address Surendranagar, Bharuch, and Sabarkantha gatherings.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Campaign: 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also join the campaign trail, holding public meetings across the state from April 25 to 27. His itinerary includes visits to various constituencies, starting with Bardoli in south Gujarat.

Congress Party’s Campaign for Lok Sabha polls: 

From the Congress party, Priyanka Gandhi will lead a roadshow in the Valsad constituency, while Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to address a mega rally in Patan, north Gujarat. 

Additionally, prominent leaders such as Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, and former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot will participate in the campaign efforts in Gujarat.

Elections for all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat are slated to take place on May 7, during the third phase of polling. With both major political parties intensifying their campaigning efforts, the stage is set for a closely contested electoral battle in the state.
