Congress Calls Bihar Assembly Results “Fabricated” After Review Meeting

Congress MP KC Venugopal described the outcome as a direct assault on democratic norms, vowing that the party will not allow what he termed a “stolen mandate” to become normalized. The allegations represent a significant challenge to the legitimacy of the election process, with the Congress promising continued resistance alongside the public.

The Congress announced plans for a public rally in Delhi to challenge the Election Commission’s SIR process, accusing it of being influenced by the BJP. The party has positioned its response as a defense of democratic institutions, declaring that the fight to protect India’s democracy will continue “fearlessly, relentlessly, and with the people by our side.”
