COVID-19 INDIA UPDATE: Reverse trend for workers, as they apply to come back to Haryana

More than 1 Lakh workers want to return Haryana, Coronavirus cases in India reaches 59,662.

Over 1 Lakh workers from U.P. and Bihar applied in the Haryana government portal head to home. Districts like Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Panipat, Rewari, Jhajjar and Yamunanagar greatest business foundations and industrial activities were the top places where the migrants seek to return, with over 72.29% applying for these districts.

Haryana Principal Secretary Anurag Rastogi positively address, “If migrant workers want to come to Haryana, we will try to make all possible arrangements to bring them back. Industrial activities have already started in the state.” Another reason to return Haryana is low COVID-19 cases. On the Haryana government portal 7.95 Lakh worker wants to leave the state and 1.46 lakh applied to return.

In the Last 24 hours 3320 fresh COVID-19 positive cases with 95 fatalities register. This takes the nationwide tally near 60,000 and the death toll to 1,981. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan revealed that India’s recovery rate has increased to 29.9% which is a good sign, he said, “Our fatality rate in the country continues to be around 3.3%, and the recovery rate has climbed up to 29.9%, these are very good sign. Doubling rate for last 3 days has been about 11 days, for last 7 days it has been 9.9 days. We have to prepare for the worst situation though our situation is not as bad like other developed nations.

The state of Maharashtra remains the worst affected with 19,063 Coronavirus cases and 731 deaths. Gujarat is second on the list with 7,402 cases. In Gujarat, Ahmedabad is most affected city only medicine and milk are available till 15th May. Delhi is third with 6318 infections.
