Covid-infected? Karan Johar’s birthday party is attended by 55 people

Last month, on May 25, filmmaker Karan Johar celebrated his 50th birthday with a lavish bash.

With a theme of ‘Black & Bling,’ the night turned out to be a shimmery affair attended by the industry’s who. Bollywood celebrities ranging from the young generation of Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor to Vicky Kaushal and his best friend Malaika Arora to industry veterans like Tabu. Twinkle Khanna, Sonali Bendre, Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, Juhi Chawla. Also a host of others attended the party hosted inside Yash Raj Studios in Andheri.

As if that wasn’t enough, the four Khans of the industry, Salman Khan. Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, made appearances. However, only a week after the extravagant glitzy bash has, we learned that something untoward had occurred to many attendees. Although the figures are not conclusive, it has been revealed that at least 50 to 55 of Karan Johar’s guests were infected with the Covid virus after attending his May 25 birthday bash.

While the complete list of those infected with the virus is unknown. It has been learn that it includes several top Bollywood actors.

“Several of Karan’s close friends from the Bollywood movie industry are Covid-infect after the party. Although they are not revealing that they have tested positive,” a source close to the situation says. Kartik Aaryan, who was not present at Karan Johar’s party, tested positive for Covid; he contracted the virus from 1 of his heroines, who was present at the party and with whom Kartik was promoting his film.”
