Deepika to Hindustan Times in an interview:
“Talking about the story of the film, Deepika told Hindustan Times in an interview, “While the overall tonality of the film is slightly lighter from my last film, my character goes through in terms of internal, emotional turmoil, it’s very challenging. The concept of the movie as a whole is something that we haven’t seen in Indian cinema much it’s called a domestic thriller.
Deepika talks about the movie:
I don’t think it’s a genre that we’re very familiar with but the audience is fully prepared for it at the same time since we’ve been introduced to that genre in various ways, whether through Hollywood movies or OTT platforms. In terms of what I want and look forward to, Shakun has this strong point about people and relationships so far as the film is involved.
I have enjoyed watching as well as performing these kinds of films as an audience/ performer, whether Tamasha (2015), Piku (2015), Love Aaj Kal, films dealing with complex human relationships.
