Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Shefali Jariwala says adopting a child is ‘on hold’ even now.

Key points:

  1.  Shefali Jariwala with her husband, Parag Tyagi, the former Bigg Boss contestant, has been in the process of adopting a baby.
  2. Shefali said maybe it is ‘for (their) benefit’ that the adoption process has been delayed by the pandemic.
  3. Ham kitni bhi koshish Karle jab hamare Ghar aane ka Waqt Hoga woh tabhi aayega bacche ka hamare.
  4. I have always needed to adopt a child from the moment I understood the definition of adoption.

Shefali Jariwala with her husband, Parag Tyagi, the former Bigg Boss contestant, has been in the process of adopting a baby, however, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is now on hold.

The couple is ‘positive’ with this working out from the future, though.

Shefali, in an Interview with SpotboyE:

Shefali said maybe it is ‘for (their) benefit’ that the adoption process has been delayed by the pandemic. She also shared her conviction that, at the right moment, things would fall into place.

We’ve put everything on hold right now because of this crown situation. It’s a long process, and there is a great deal of work involved. And that process is going to be taking a sweet time of its own.

All we can do is just hope and pray things can go smoothly and quickly,’ she said in an interview with SpotboyE.

I believe, too, that whenever the time is right, and it’s your destiny, something happens—Ham kitni bhi koshish Karle jab hamare Ghar aane ka Waqt Hoga woh tabhi aayega bacche ka hamare.

We try, and we are very optimistic about that. A lot of stuff has slowed down the entire corona scenario, and maybe that is for our benefit. God, she said, is very kind jo bhi hota hai ache ke liye hota hai.

As soon as she left the show, Shefali, who was a wild-card contender on Bigg Boss 13, started the paperwork to adopt a child. In an earlier conversation, she said that because she was a little child, she decided to adopt her.

I had always wanted to adopt a child from the moment I understood the definition of adoption, which was when I was 10 or 11. It’s hard, particularly when it’s possible to have your own children.

There’s stress from society, from friends and family, but that’s what Parag and I were talking about, and we want to adopt a baby, “she said.
