Gujarat sees relief from high temperatures

Gujarat: The temperature will probably stay subdued for the following four days due to the cloudy skies.

Over the weekend, Gujarat experienced a welcome respite from the scorching heat, with maximum temperatures across the state dropping below 40°C. On Sunday, Anand recorded the highest temperature at 39.7°C, followed closely by Vadodara at 39°C and Rajkot at 39.4°C.

Stable Weather Conditions Expected

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the outlook for Monday remains consistent, with no significant change in temperature anticipated.

Over the next four days, the IMD forecasts stable conditions, with temperatures expected to remain relatively steady. However, beyond this period, a gradual increase of 2°C to 3°C is projected over the subsequent three days.

No Weather Warnings Issued

Despite the fluctuations in temperature, no weather warnings were issued across any part of Gujarat on Sunday. This suggests a period of calm weather conditions across the region, providing relief to residents from the intense heat experienced in recent weeks.

Ahmedabad, one of the major cities in Gujarat, reported a maximum temperature of 37.6°C on Sunday, which was 2.6°C below the average for this time of year.

However, the minimum temperature recorded was 26°C, slightly above the normal range by 0.9°C. For Monday, the IMD predicts partly cloudy skies over Ahmedabad, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 38°C.

Overall, the forecast indicates a period of relatively stable weather conditions across Gujarat, offering some relief from the persistent high temperatures experienced in the region.
