Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan Posters From Haiwaan Unveiled

The makers of the upcoming psychological thriller Haiwaan released its first set of posters on Wednesday, giving fans an early look at stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in contrasting avatars. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is a Hindi remake of his own 2016 Malayalam hit Oppam, which starred Mohanlal.

Villain vs. Vigilante: The Poster Reveal

The posters, styled in striking red and black tones, position the two leads on opposite ends of the story’s moral spectrum. Akshay appears in a beanie with his eyes concealed, exuding menace, accompanied by a line suggesting that vengeance misses nothing. A second poster shows him laughing maniacally. In contrast, Saif’s posters capture him staring intently into the camera, paired with a tagline about heightened senses becoming a weapon, hinting at his character’s disability-driven perception.

A Reunion Nearly Two Decades in the Making

Haiwaan marks the first collaboration between Akshay, Saif, and Priyadarshan together, and reunites the two actors on screen for the first time since Tashan released in 2008. Saif plays a visually impaired music teacher who becomes the sole protector of a young girl, setting up what he has described as a David-versus-Goliath conflict against Akshay’s menacing antagonist. Mohanlal, who led the original film, will appear in a cameo role, as confirmed earlier by Priyadarshan.

The cast also includes Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar in key roles. Combining elements of action and drama, Haiwaan is slated to hit theatres on September 11.
