Welcome to the Jungle Nears 200 Crore Mark on Day 18

Akshay Kumar’s action comedy Welcome To The Jungle is winding down its theatrical run on a solid note, having slowed considerably at the box office after the arrival of Dhamaal 4 in cinemas. Even so, the film has quietly reached a career milestone for its female lead, Disha Patani, cementing its place among her biggest commercial successes.

Collection Numbers So Far

By the end of its eighteenth day in theatres, the Ahmed Khan-directed film has racked up a worldwide total of roughly 190.92 crore. This includes a net domestic collection of about 133.95 crore and an overseas contribution of around 32.86 crore, according to trade estimates. Industry tracker Koimoi reports that daily earnings have now dropped to nearly 1 crore, making the 200 crore milestone a tough ask in the film’s closing stretch.

A New Career Best for Disha Patani

The numbers put Welcome To The Jungle ahead of Patani’s earlier release Kanguva, which had collected 107.03 crore, officially making this her fourth highest-grossing film to date. It still trails well behind her career leader, MS Dhoni, which had earned 217 crore. With no major new Hindi films releasing this week, the movie could get a bit of breathing room over its fourth weekend, potentially helping it inch closer to the 200 crore landmark, though that remains a challenging target given the current pace of collections.

Whether the film ultimately crosses that threshold will depend largely on how well it holds up over the next few days, with the absence of fresh competition being its biggest ally at this stage.
