Hansal Mehta blames Mumbai Govt for his stomach infection

Hansal Mehta, a filmmaker, became ill with a stomach infection on Thursday morning. He used Twitter to assert it was from Mumbai’s drinking water and criticised the government for failing to provide safe drinking water to its residents. He stated that his doctor deals with such issues daily.

He mentioned the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), CM Eknath Shinde, and Devendra Fadnavis, among other state leaders. 

“It is ridiculous that a city that is the financial capital of the country and the capital of a state with two deputy chief CMs cannot provide basic clean drinking water to its citizens,” he continued. 

Not to mention our horrible roads, choking traffic, lack of flood readiness, and decaying infrastructure. THIS IS THE MUMBAI. And it is run by people who don’t care about its citizens. All they care about is power and enriching themselves.

Hansal stated in a tweet that Karan Vyas, who wrote Hansal’s smash Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, has also been diagnosed with a similar virus. 

“I received a message from @karanmukeshvyas, who is also sick with a similar infection.” “People in his society are as well,” Hansal remarked. Meanwhile, once Hansal published the post, several Twitter users agreed with him.

Scoop was Hansal Mehta’s recent movie. The working title for his next film is The Buckingham Murders. It stars Kareena Kapoor and was shot in the United Kingdom. 

According to reports, she plays a mother and detective investigating a murder in a small village in Buckinghamshire, inspired by Kate Winslet’s Mare of Easttown. 

While the film’s final title has yet to be announced, it is expected to be released later this year. However, no confirmation has been provided.
