Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan, is one of the most beloved and cherished films of the last decade. The movie stars Salman or Kareena Kapoor Khan and is also known for the chemistry between Salman and child actor Harshaali Malhotra. Harshaali won the prestigious Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar Award for her performance in the film on January 9, 2022. She shared photos from the ceremony and expressed gratitude to Salman, Kabir, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, and the entire film team.
Harshaali rose to prominence as Munni in the 2015 film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
She received the prestigious Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar Award on Sunday. She posted photos of herself with the award and a note dedicated to Salman Khan, Kabir Khan, and Mukesh Chhabra. “This award is dedicated to @beingsalmankhan, @kabirkhankk, @castingchhabra uncle, and the entire @BajrangiBhaijaan team for believing in me.” “Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari (Governor of Maharashtra) (sic) presented me with the Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar national award,” she wrote.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan revolved around a Hanuman devotee who met a girl from Pakistan who accidentally entered India. Pawan, played by Harshaali Malhotra, decides to reunite Munni with his family, and thus the story begins. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui also appeared in the film.
Last month, Salman also confirmed the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. KV Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote the Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is currently working on the sequel’s script.
