The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch Chandrayaan-3, its third mission to the Moon, from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 2.35 p.m. on Friday. 

The Chandrayaan-2 was launched on July 22 2019, at 09:13:12 UTC by an LVM3-M1 rocket. However, on September 6, 2019, the lander crashed after diverting from its original trajectory while attempting to land. The incident was caused by a software error, according to a failure analysis report given to ISRO.
