For my film Hey Bro (2015), I also put on 30-40 kg, and then my weight reached 200 kg. Ab vahi weight utaar Raha hoon (now I’m going to shed the weight),’ he stated.

 Ganesh Acharya about his upcoming movie in an interview: 

In a film titled Dehati Disco, Ganesh is expected to appear in a leading role. In another interview with the Hindustan Times, he spoke about the movie and said, “This is a very unique kind of movie.” This is a rather serious role, an action as well as a dance, unlike my comedy roles.

I play the role of a dad who has a 10-year-old kid. This is a dance movie based on the Hindustani kala (art form). Since I have also directed films, all those experiences in my job are used by me.

Ganesh worked on new projects as a choreographer, including Akshay Kumar’s Laxmii, BellBottom, Coolie No 1, Bhuj, as well as Toofan.
