Honey Singh got death threat from Canada based gangster Goldy Brar

Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has filed a case with the Delhi Police after receiving a death threat from gangster Goldy Brar. 

Brar believed to be hiding in Canada, is accused of being a key figure in the assassination of singer-songwriter Sidhu Moose Wala in Punjab last year.

Mr Singh received the threat as a voice message and proceeded to the Delhi Police headquarters today to meet with the Commissioner and submit a report. The police have launched an investigation. 

Here’s what Singer Honey Singh stated:

“I am scared, and my entire family is scared.” Who isn’t scared of dying? This is the first time I’ve received a threat like this. People have shown me a lot of love,” Mr Singh said after meeting with the Commissioner. 

“My staff and I have received calls from international numbers as well as voice notes from someone claiming to be Goldy Brar,” he continued. I have presented the Commissioner with all of the evidence. I’ve asked him to provide me with security and investigate the incident. I’m scattered right now.”

Death of Singer Sidhu Moose Wala:

On May 29, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in his car near his village Moosa in Punjab’s Mansa district. Goldy Brar later claimed in a Facebook post that he organised the murder to avenge the death of another criminal.

Goldy Brar, alias Satinderjit Singh, is a close associate of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, the prime suspect in the Moose Wala murder.

Interpol-Ottawa’s Fugitive Apprehension Support Team added Brar’s name to Canada’s list of the top 25 most wanted fugitives last month. 

According to an official release, Brar is thought to be in Canada and threatens public safety. The crimes he committed in India are “very serious in nature.”
