Passengers on the Bhopal-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express practised yoga on Wednesday to commemorate the 9th International Yoga Day.

The one-of-a-kind workout was led by yoga teacher Krishna Kant Mishra, who directed all passengers to yoga in their seats.

“I want to spread the message of International Yoga Day by performing some yoga asana in a sitting posture with the Vande Bharat passengers.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Yoga Day concept in 2014, and the inaugural International Yoga Day was observed in 2015. “It’s been celebrated every year since then,” Mishra remarked.

Mishra has uploaded a video of himself instructing passengers on practising yoga. People could be seen following his instructions as he taught yoga postures. They were standing in a standing position, with their hands interlocked and raised straight up.

He also encouraged everyone to include yoga in their daily lives and wished everyone a happy Yoga Day.

Every year, on June 21, the globe celebrates International Yoga Day. It serves as a platform to raise awareness about yoga’s myriad advantages and promote its comprehensive approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Along with this today Surat also created a record of highest number of people performing Yoga together.
