The Honor X40 starts at CNY 1,499 in China (roughly Rs. 17,100).

The Honor X40 has been released in China, according to the company. The mobile has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 1.07 billion colors. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, Adreno 619 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The Honor X40 has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It has a 5,100mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging.

Honor X40 cost and availability

In China, the Honor X40 is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,100) for the base variant with 6GB of RAM also 128GB of internal storage. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 19,400), while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 1,999. (roughly Rs. 22,800).

The top-tier variant with 12GB of RAM also 256GB of storage costs CNY 2,299 in China (roughly Rs. 26,200). It is available in Caiyun Chasing the Moon, Magic Night Black, and Mo Yuqing (translated) color options from Honor’s official online store in China.

Specifications for the Honor X40

Honor is a dual-SIM (nano) smartphone that runs Magic UI 6.1 on Android 12. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch Curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, also 1.07 billion colors. The company claims that the display has a peak brightness of 800 nits. It has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC also an Adreno 619 GPU.

The mobile has up to 12GB of RAM also 256GB of internal storage. Honor claims that the RAM can be expand by up to 7GB to provide a “19GB RAM experience.”
