As per the update reported by the health ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, cumulative recoveries are also at 1.04 crore with the recovery ratio at 97.05 per cent.
Kerala is at the top, with 5,215 newly recovered patients a day, followed by Maharashtra, which has reported 3,289 recovery rates in the previous 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported.
India in COVID-19 Vaccination:
India was the quickest to exceed 1 million, 2 million, as well as 3 million vaccination marks following the introduction of the national Covid-19 vaccination program.
1,91,313 healthcare staff have been vaccinated in 3,516 sessions in the last 24hrs, the health ministry added. So far, 72,731 sessions have been performed cumulatively, it said.
