IPL 2020 19th match Delhi Capitals beat RCB by 59 runs.

19th match of IPL 2020 played in Dubai, Delhi Capitals beat Kohli’s RCB easily.

Prithvi Shaw and Stoinis helped DC get a big score:

Prithvi Shaw, Stoinis, Pant inning helped DC reach 196 in 20 overs. No RCB bowler was good enough to stop young guns of Delhi Capitals. 

Washington and Siraj bowled well:

Only Washington Sundar bowled well with Siraj. Spin champ of RCB Chahal was off-colour today and new star Saini too was not in good form. 

RCB Reply to DC’s 196:

In reply of 196 RCB lost wickets at regular intervals. Padikkal, de Villiers, Finch all failed to score. Kohli batted well for his 43, but he was too slow. He scored 43 of 39balls and got out.

Rabada, Axar and Ashwin bowled well:

RCB bowlers Rabada took four wickets, Axar took two wickets and Ashwin which helped DC take control of the match. None of the bowlers gave a chance to RCB batsman to get settled. DC bowlers bundled out all the big names of RCB.

My thought on both the team after this match:

RCB seriously needs to think about the bowling line up. They are changing the bowling unit too quickly. Steyn or udana, I will prefer Steyn and why three fast bowlers with moeen in the team, don’t know what they were thinking. Today first-time Sundar Washington was appropriately used by Kohli in the IPL 2020. 

Saini needs a good mentor. I hope Steyn in the team will help a lot in IPL 2020 after all he is the future of India too. One more thing I feel is the role of Shivam in a team which is a big question mark for me. He is coming too late; I don’t think he can slog straight away like others.

Delhi all good today. Yes, the captain failed, but it happens sometimes. Prithvi is once again impressive. I feel the only concern in top order for DC is Dhawan form. I feel Harshal Patel as pace option is not a good option for Delhi. They have to quickly find a choice so that a bowler extra can give support to Rabada as a team is depending too much on him. Good to see Ashwin and Axar form. All an all great match for DC and I feel DC looking strong to top the table this time.
