IPL 2020 7th Match: DC beats CSK by 44 runs. Prithvi and DC bowlers shine.

Old horses of CSK are not able to perform this year. From Watson to Dhoni, Kedar and Vijay. Four prominent players are not firing this year which is a big concern now for the team. Today CSK lost to Delhi as no batsman stood up.

Delhi Capital beats CSK, thanks to good batting by Prithvi Shaw, Dhawan, Pant and Shreyas. All contributed well Delhi scored 175 in 20 overs. Star for Delhi was Prithvi Shaw; he batted brilliantly today.

For CSK Sam Curran, Chawla was the pick of the bowlers who tried to control the flow of runs for CSK. Remaining all went for runs; only Hazlewood bowled well.

In reply of 175 CSK against started poorly lost both openers quickly, Vijay’s form is a big concern now for the team. Du Plessis and Kedar tried to up the scoring but failed to do that and lost their wickets. Dhoni again came too late for batting when the match almost went for CSK.

Delhi Capital bowlers bowled with discipline and didn’t allow CSK batsman to score quickly. Axar Patel, Rabada, Nortje Mishra all bowled well today.

CSK is not looking like a team which we know from many years. Rayadu’s absence is hurting team, and they also lack powerful hitter in the back of the inning.

Maybe some have to feel the big gap of Raina in coming matches. But the question is, who will do that? Will Dhoni promote himself up the order to help CSK come back in form.

All an all match was one-sided. Delhi Capitals beats CSK by 44runs. Delhi is showing a good sign this time as a team. We can expect Delhi in top four teams this year.

For CSK there are many things which they have to find the answer because this team has many old horses who are not able to deliver this year. Watson, Vijay, Dhoni and even Kedar.
