As of Saturday, K.G.F. Chapter 2 had earned more than $10 million worldwide, with an estimated $10.65 million (Rs. 81 crores). Only a few Indian films have grossed $10 million in their first weekend in foreign markets. K.G.F. 2 has been completed in three days, following in the footsteps of Baahubali 2, R.R.R., Padmaavat, and Dhoom 3.
The Kannada blockbuster K.G.F. Chapter 2 is a sequel to the Kannada blockbuster K.G.F. Chapter 1. Prashanth Neel is in charge of the direction. The story’s first section follows Yash, an underdog who eventually becomes a violent gangster.
The sequel also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken, and Saran.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Hindi version of K.G.F. Chapter 2 earned Rs 143.64 crores for the uninitiated, within three days of its release. He took to Twitter to express his feelings, writing, “#KGF2 [#Hindi] is gearing up for a RECORD-BREAKING weekend… Day 3 is SUPER-SOLID – metros are exploding, mass circuits are stout… Day 4 [Sun] will compete against Day 1 [Thu]… This guy is a #BO MONSTER… Thursday: 53.95 million, Friday: 46.79 million, and Saturday: 42.90 million. Total: 143.64 crores in #India business.”
