Her niece Rachana told PTI that the 92-year-old singer is in the ICU ward at the Breach Candy hospital and that her symptoms are mild.
“She has a low level of Covid positivity.” Doctors advised us that, given her age. She should be in the intensive care unit (ICU) because she requires round-the-clock care. And we can not afford to take any chances. “As a family, we go the best for her and go to make sure she is cared for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” Rachana said. “She’ll be fine.”
