Mamata Banerjee and Bachchan family Rakshabandhan Pictures

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited star Amitabh Bachchan at his house in Jalsa on Wednesday and celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with his family. 

Mamata is in town for a two-day summit of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA). The West Bengal CM not only tied rakhi on Amitabh’s wrist, but she also met his family members and posed for selfies with them.

The official X account of her party, India Trinamool Congress, shared inside images from the meeting and stated, “Today, Hon’ble CM Smt @MamataOfficial met Mr. @SrBachchan and Mrs. 

Jaya Bachchan, along with their family, at their residence in Mumbai. She thanked them for their precious time and wished them luck in all their future endeavours. Few glimpses from the visit.”

Everyone in an Ethnic attire:

Mamata and Jaya Bachchan were seen hugging in one of the images. The CM also posed for photos with the Bachchan family. 

Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Aaradhya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and Navya Naveli Nanda show up together with Amitabh and Jaya. 

They were all dressed in vibrant ethnic attire. A video of them posing for paparazzi has also gone viral.

Mamata Banerjee with former CM:

CM Mamata Banerjee also celebrated Raksha Bandhan at the residence of former Maharashtra chief minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Banerjee put a rakhi on Thackeray and took photos with his family. On X, the Trinamool Congress shared photos of the two leaders celebrating Raksha Bandhan.
